Ronald J. Vilela , M.D., FAAP
Ronald J. Vilela, MD, joined Children's ENT of Houston in September of 2008. Dr. Vilela came to us following completion of his pediatric otolaryngology training at The Children's Hospitals of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Prior to fellowship training, Dr. Vilela graduated from medical school at the University of Texas-Houston and completed his otolaryngology residency at Tulane University School of Medicine and Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans.
Dr. Vilela is certified by the American Board of Otolanyngology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Harris County Medical Society. He is interested in a wide variety of pediatric otolaryngology disciplines including chronic ear disease and hearing loss, cochlear implantation, sinonasal problems, diseases of the airway including airway reconstruction, and mandibular distraction osteogenesis, and cleft lip and palate surgery.
